About Comprehensive Counseling Services
Linda LeClair-Stapleton, LCSW opened Comprehensive Counseling Services
(CCS) in 2000. She has been licensed to practice independently since 1997.
Linda received her Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University in 1991
with a major in Psychology and a minor in Art. Also in 1991, Linda began
working for Department of Veterans Affairs at a Veterans' Outreach Center on
the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. While there she was able to give presentations
and interview over 1500 veterans who were returning from the Persian Gulf
War. Linda was actively involved in peer support groups for the returning
Veterans. She also began supportive counseling for Vietnam Veterans during
In 1992, Linda began her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work at Case
Western Reserve University (now called Case University.) By the end of 1994
she graduated with her Master's degree and was working at the Department of
Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio as a therapist on the PTSD unit.
In 1999, Linda transferred to Texas and worked as a therapist and eventually
Team Leader for the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bonham,
By 2004, she left the Department of Veterans' Affairs and began working
full-time in private practice. She enjoys working with individuals with trauma
issues, depression and other mood disorders, ADHD, teens with behavioral
issues and also couples who are interested in strengthening their relationship.
Linda has always enjoyed working in private practice in small rural
communities. The counties she is currently serving are: Fannin, Hunt, Lamar,
Grayson, Rockwall and Kaufman.
